　　2A12 aluminum bar is a kind of hard aluminum with high strength, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has moderate plasticity in annealing, rigid quenching and hot state, good spot welding performance, and tendency to form intergranular cracks when gas welding and argon arc welding are used. The machinability of the alloy after quenching and cold working hardening is good, but it is not good in annealing state. Because of its low corrosion resistance, anodizing and painting are often used or aluminum coating is added on the surface to improve the corrosion resistance.
       2A12 aluminum bar is mainly used in high load parts and components, such as aircraft structure, skin, framework, rib beam, partition frame, rivet components, truck hub, screw pulp components and other structural parts.
